About Us

 

In 1986, a group of professors from Haverford College began discussing an idea for a new kind of community. It would be a place where people of retirement age could live securely, share their interests, and enjoy each other's company — all in an intellectually stimulating environment.

 

From that idea, The Quadrangle was created.

 

Located on 74 rolling wooded acres in Haverford, Pennsylvania, The Quadrangle began with a single building — The Linden House, an elegant English-country mansion once home to a prominent local family. Today there are seven additional residential buildings on site, two skilled nursing and personal care facilities, and numerous residential cottages. The tranquil grounds feature walking trails, a six-hole golf course, putting green, greenhouse, tennis courts, and a community garden.

Today, this Sunrise Senior Living Community continues to provide seniors with an environment where care and service are paramount.
